Initially, Lulu Wang, director of The Farewell, was responsible for creating the miniseries, which was based on the book by Janice YK Lee. Therefore, we can expect a lot of quality.

The main cast features Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue and Ji-young Yoo in the roles of Margaret, Hilary and Mercy.

The plot addresses the lives of these foreign women in Hong Kong, facing challenges such as the disappearance of a child and doubts about staying in the marriage.

But the short series received rave reviews from viewers. IMDb, for example, was 6.2 points and received 84% critical approval.

Fallout

Firstly, this series portrays a dystopian world, based on a collection of role-playing games and debuted on Amazon last Thursday (11).

Under the direction of Jonathan Nolan (known for Westworld) and Lisa Joy (from Paths of Memory), the story tells the experiences of survivors of a nuclear conflict, inhabitants of high-end refuges.

In the cast we find Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Aaron Moten (Emancipation) and Kyle MacLachlan (Dune 1984), playing the roles of Lucy, Maximus and Hank – the main character's friend and father.

According to IMDb, the series has already received more than 10 thousand reviews, reaching a rating of 8.7. On Rotten Tomatoes, 93% of critics approved the production.

Bosch

Firstly, with seven seasons available on the streaming service, the plot revolves around the daily life of investigator Harry Bosch, played by actor Titus Welliver (Confiar é Bem).

The plot begins when Bosch is in charge of solving the murder of a 13-year-old teenager. At the same time, he is accused of taking a man's life in self-defense.



The victim's wife decides to sue the detective, making his daily activities more complicated.

Jamie Hector (known for his role in The Listen) and Amy Aquino (who previously acted in Good Company) are part of the cast of the first season, playing detective Jerry and Bosch's boss, Grace, respectively.

The series, created by Eric Overmyer (responsible for Treme), received an 8.5 rating on IMDb and received an approval rating of 97% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Invincible

The Amazon Prime Video animated series, inspired by the comic book by Robert Kirkman (Marvel Zombies), tells the journey of Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old boy who discovers he has powers just like his father, Omni-Man, a renowned super- hero.

However, dealing with this family legacy proves to be a much greater challenge than he anticipated.

Mark is played by Steven Yeun (Glenn, from The Walking Dead), while his parents, Debbie and Nolan, are voiced by Sandra Oh (Cristina, from Grey's Anatomy) and JK Simmons (Terence Fletcher, from Whiplash).

On IMDb, Invincible has a rating of 8.7, and 99% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes praises the animated series, which already has two seasons.

Mr and Mrs Smith

Inspired by the feature film of the same name released in 2005, the series was created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane (Twenty Cigaretts).

Glover, known for his work in Atlanta, plays one of the leads alongside talented actress Maya Erskine (PEN15).

In the plot, the characters they play are recruited by a spy agency.

Therefore, they need to pretend to be a couple named John and Jane Smith.

Wagner Moura (Tropa de Elite) and Úrsula Corberó (La Casa de Papel) are also part of the cast as “Other” John and Runi.

Released on streaming in February, it has already reached 7 points on IMDb. On Rotten Tomatoes, Mr. and Mrs. Smith has a 90% rating from critics.
