We are currently still facing the pandemic, but we know that many families are experiencing difficulties in being able to maintain themselves and have their daily livelihood. Before that the State governor, Joao Doria created a new project that creates the People's Scholarship in São Paulo, with the aim of once again reaching out to vulnerable families, I intend to benefit 2 million of people.
With this action, the Education People's Scholarship will employ 20,000 student guardians in various functions, with the working day 4 hours per day.
Understand how the Bolsa do Povo Educação program works
the initiative of People's Scholarship with the hiring of parents or guardians of public school for various services such as : cleaning, cooking and general services.
O Sao Paulo's State Government will give R$500.00 in the period of six months before the performance of the services. The focus of the project is intended to bring parents closer to the school and also as a way to help people who are out of work.
How to participate in the Bolsa do Povo program
To find out if you can participate in the program, see the criteria to be followed:
- Parents or guardians of the student who is enrolled in a public school;
- Be between 18 and 59 years old;
- And who has been unemployed for at least three months;
- And who resides close to the school with a distance of 2 km.
In view of the information provided, there are other criteria that you prefer to participate in.
Being them:
- Be registered in the single register;
- Live closer to the school;
- Being of legal age;
- Have the child enrolled in the school of interest;
- Being a mother of the student in the state network.
How to register for the Program
First: go to the website page program and from the options provided click on "education".
Second: information regarding the program will appear on the screen, so read it carefully, and then click on the button "subscribe".
Third: fill in the required fields such as CPF, full name, address, date of birth and inform how long you have been unemployed.
Room: to be able to benefit from Bolsa Povo it is necessary not to have comorbidities related to covid-19; if you fit out of the mentioned cases, then click on "next step";
Fifth: select three schools close to your home, remembering that it is in distance of 2 km and then tap on "Next step".
You have completed the registration, in this case you need to wait for the response from Sao Paulo's State Government. However, it still does not have more information on the disclosure of results, but in relation to employability it will start on the date of August 16th going until the end of the year.
It is worth remembering that registration for the program must be done by July 31, 2021.
Candidates will be chosen according to the rule of program after enrolling, even conducting an interview.
