To be honest, April isn't the most exciting for Netflix when it comes to movies, but here are 5 great movies to watch on Netflix in April 2023.
Streaming even promised good premieres, but there is no big news and the number of productions itself is significantly lower than in other months.
Still, that's not to say there aren't future releases worthy of your attention.
Between nostalgia and the outcome of beautiful stories, fans of a good adventure have nothing to complain about.
Of course, the return of colorful and now nearly sixty-year-old heroes is something that will only reach a larger portion of the public, but there are other equally interesting additions.
An example of this is an adorable friendship journey between a boy and the little Chupacabra.
The film had already been commented on social networks when it became a joke because of the original subtitle, but it promises to be much more than a meme and warm many hearts.
And speaking of hearts, we have yet another tourist romance on Netflix.
Streaming specializes in this type of plot and each month brings a love story that takes place in a different corner of the globe.
And this time, it's time to see that passion unfold (and even curl up a bit) in the middle of Vietnam. Unusual, impossible.
So follow now 5 great movies to watch on Netflix in April 2023.
5. My friend Lutcha
The month begins with the fun film My friend Lutcha, which brings the whole family together and tells the story of a lonely boy who becomes the best friend of a mythical creature: the chupacabra itself.
And unlike the Sunday shows of the 1990s, the critter is not a scary monster, but a cute creature who wants to take the main character on a great adventure.
It is worth remembering that this feature generated many memes on social networks before the debut due to its old name – Chupa.
But I'm glad someone at Netflix had the sense to adapt and create a name that translates to this ET - The Alien Transporter.
My friend Lutcha arrives April 7th.
4. Hunger for success
Culinary behind-the-scenes movies are always a good choice, and this April Netflix brings Hunger for Success.
A Thai feature film that explores all the stress and pressure of professional cooking, but outside the classic setting of France, Italy or even the United States. As Hollywood always presents.
So we have a young cook who is invited to learn from a famous chef.
And a dream come true becomes a challenge to its own limits almost like gunpowder in the kitchen.
The film Hunger for Success opens on April 8.
3. The Last Kingdom Seven Kings Must Die
Bernard Cornwell's literary epic continues from the TV series to the film The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die.
The film continues the story of The Saxon Chronicle and, after five seasons of The Last Kingdom, it's time for the climax of the battle for England's future.
This is not a spin-off of the series, but a continuation of the series of events we've gotten to so far.
Thus, we have Uhtred of Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon) and his comrades joining forces in an attempt to unify the country after the death of their king.
The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die will be released on April 14th.

2. Power Rangers: Now and Forever
Come on, come on Power Rangers! Yes, the classic series that marked the childhood of an entire generation returns in a special to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary.
Power Rangers: Now and Forever is a special that brings back some of the actors who were previously on the original roster of the team including other players entering the next era.
This pays homage to the legacy of the bleached character, filled with nostalgia.
Mainly because in Brazil, the film still features the voice actors who dubbed these characters in the early 90s.
All this to capture the rebirth of villainous Rita Detestação and how only the experience of these heroes approaching 60 can save the world by honoring the legacy of the Power Rangers through the ages.
Power Rangers: Now and Forever opens on April 19.
1. A travel guide to love
Finally, we close out the month of April with one of those cute romances that Netflix loves, and so do we.
Travel Guide for Love tells the story of a woman who travels to Vietnam for work and, in order to survive in the Asian country, finds a travel agent to be her guide.
At first, this relationship does not go as planned, as the fearless side of this man throws the main character into adventures that she was not even looking for.
However, it doesn't take long for him to go for the biggest one – and you know which one.
The Cuddle Guide arrives on Netflix on April 21.
